The Conservation Local Workgroup for Escambia County will be meeting on Wednesday

November 18, 2009 at 10:00 am, at the Ag Science Center located behind Southern Pine

Electric Cooperative. This meeting will be a discussion of county concerns that relate to

watershed health and conservation for the EQIP and WHIP FY2010 program.

Escambia County Cost Share Program 2010

The Escambia County SWCD is now accepting applications for cost share assistance practices available include

permanent vegetative cover, terraces, contour buffer strips, permanent vegetative cover on critical areas,

sediment control structures, animal waste facilities, ponds for livestock water, water quality and forestry practices.
